Hello

Welcome to a digital preview of my imagination. This portfolio presents a few examples of how I paint shadows and light with characters and language. I am apt to break a few rules.  It's a matter of perspective as my favorite writer Truman Capote would say.

 

I grew up on a small farm in the Ozark mountains of rural northwest Arkansas. World-building and immersive storytelling have been passions of mine ever since I was a small boy sitting alone in meadows of wildflowers looking up at the Milky Way. I studied theatre performance, playwrighting, and experimental theatre in college before I moved to Los Angeles to embark on a career in entertainment. Now I live in the suburbs with my wonderful family and three French bulldogs. I have never stopped looking up at the sky. 

 

Always an explorer, working in entertainment and XR technology has allowed me to embrace new worlds of narrative design and the power of immersive technologies to make stories and experiences come to life, where my favorite character is the player of the game. Game writing and my work in independent VR game production are exciting new adventures for me where I am just starting to push the boundaries. Please enjoy some of these musings on the human experience, where the journey is just as transformative as the victory or loss.
